BTS - Hooked on the First Chapter Podcast Creation: Day 3 Recap - Set Up Podcast Hosting Platform

Day 3 has now taken a week to almost complete. 

Yes, it is frustrating.

Yes, I feel dumb.

Yes, I am going to keep going!

It took a day to rearrange my recording space and assess my potential soundproofing needs. Then, a day to dig out all my equipment after everything got scattered during some recent home renovations. 

Wait. Did I say a day? Try, I am still looking for my tripods, all three of which are missing now. 

Yup, this is how Day 3 had me.

But it's not all doom and gloom.

I already have many of the things I needed from an earlier bucket list checkmark when I narrated an audiobook (or two, but that’s a whole other blog post). I don't want to leave you all in the dark so here is a chart of the equipment I am currently using and what I am thinking of upgrading to.*

I have a computer-savvy son willing and potentially able to come help me get everything connected and set-up after my attempts were unsuccessful. And I have Days 4 and 5 that still have a step or two to finalize.

Do what you can and let the rest go, right?

So if you look hard enough and swear at the right Divine powers-at-be they will let you find what you have searched every corner of your home to find where you least expect it.
